ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Ravindra Kumar is a universally renowned Scholar, Writer and Indologist. He served the CCS University of Meerut [India] as its Vice-Chancellor. He has been associated with a number of academic, cultural , educational, peace and social organizations/institutions in India and abroad. He has 100 works and more than 200 papers to his credit. Some of his well-known works include Theory and Practice of Gandhian Non-Violence, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Comrade Mao Tse- Tung: A Comparative Study With Reference to Peasantry, Peace: The Essence ofAll Religion, Morality and Ethics in Public Life, Five Thousand Years of Indian Culture, From Champaran to Quit India Movement and For Peace and Prosperity Dr. Ravindra Kumar is the Founder and Editor-inChief of Global Peace-International Journal. He has visited more than two dozen countries of Asia , Europe and Oceania as the Visiting Professor and Scholar. The recipient of honours like Shan-e-Kaum and Shantiddot Dr. Kumar was also awarded Padma Shri by H.E. the President of India in 2001 for his noteworthy services.
